Redesign of a pool house
Aménagement d’une pool house et des abords d’une piscine
Avec le client, l’architecte d’intérieur et le paysagiste ont voulu ajouter du charme au pool house en réalisant un toit de chaume assorti à la maison, et ce, pour son côté naturel et ses qualités isolantes. Ce dernier a été créé dans la continuité de l'extension de la terrasse couverte. Celle-ci est rythmée par sa structure en bois qui rappelle également le pool house et permet d'être à l'abri des voisins. Le paysagiste a revu le jardin afin d'ancrer la piscine à débordement dans son environnement. Ainsi, des parterres ont été prévus pour accueillir des vieux oliviers.
Redesign of a pool house and the surrounding area of a swimming pool
Together with the client, the interior designer and the landscape designer wanted to add charm to the pool house by creating a thatched roof to match the house — chosen for its natural feel and insulating qualities. This was built as a continuation of the covered terrace extension. The terrace is defined by its timber structure, which also echoes the pool house and provides privacy from neighbours. The landscape designer reworked the garden in order to anchor the infinity pool within its surroundings. As a result, planted beds were designed to accommodate mature olive trees.
